Future Electronics and Renesas Electronics expand distribution agreement

Future Electronics recently announced an extended distribution agreement with Renesas Electronics. Under the agreement, Future Electronics will be able to offer a full line of high-performance product portfolios from Renesas Electronics in China, including its earlier acquisition of the IDT and intersil product lines.

“We have been able to provide our customers in China with a rich product portfolio from Renesas Electronics.” Raymond Huang, Vice President of Sales, Future Electronics China, said, “This includes Renesas Electronics' traditional microcontrollers (MCUs), system-on-a-chip (SoC), analog and power devices, as well as intersil's superior power management products, as well as IDT's industry-leading analog mixed-signal products such as RF, high-performance clocks, and smart sensors. Combining all products, we believe that we can bring innovative and comprehensive solutions to industries such as industry and infrastructure.”

Alex Chan, Director of Channel Sales, Renesas Electronics China, said, “We are very pleased to extend our cooperation with Future Electronics to China. As a world-renowned distributor of electronic components, Future Electronics has unique value in providing customized engineering design services, Full-Board Demand Creation and supply chain solutions. We believe that this cooperation will give full play to the advantages of both products and services, thus providing a different design experience for Chinese customers.”
