Murata:No price increase next year

December 7, 2018

Yesterday, Japanese media reported that Murata will adjust the price of MLCC from January to April 2019. After the news broadcast, it has a great public opinion impact on the entire electronic components market. Today, Murata officially issued a statement saying that the news is a misunderstanding caused by language differences. Murata follows the rules of the market and the principle of fair competition to set prices. In 2019, there is no plan to raise the price of MLCC.

In order to avoid further expansion of the impact of this news, the Japanese media has revised the original report.
