Cypress Semiconductor opens an online store at tmall.com

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. announced that it has opened an online store at tmall.com, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group.

Cypress is one of the first electronic component manufacturers to enter tmall.com, the products currently available at the online store include IoT wireless connectivity and Bluetooth solutions, programmable EZ-PDTM USB-C and USB PD controllers, flexible programmable PSoC MCUs and RAM solutions.

At present, Cypress's sales channels in China included international sales offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu, as well as authorized distributors such as Sunray, Weikeng and Zenitron. By opening an online store in tmall.com for end users, it will further expand its sales channels in mainland China and increase brand awareness.

Kamal Haddad, vice president of distribution at Cypress: "We are very happy to open an online store at Alibaba's Tmall. From then on, we will not only be able to bring differentiated technologies to more developers to help them solve design problems. At the same time, our partnership with Alibaba has been further strengthened. We believe that Tmall will further expand our customer base and help us further enhance our brand recognition in the Chinese market."
