ST issues new price increase notice effective June 28

May 29, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — STMicroelectronics has reportedly notified customers of a new round of price increases that will take effect on June 28, 2026, according to a customer letter circulating within the semiconductor industry.

The notice states that ST had already implemented price adjustments earlier this year on selected products in response to rising operating and supply chain costs. However, continued inflationary pressure and further increases in raw material, transportation and labor expenses have prompted the company to introduce additional price adjustments for products that were not included in the previous increase.

According to the document, the new pricing measures will become effective on June 28, although specific product categories and pricing details were not disclosed.

ST said the decision was made after careful consideration and is intended to support continued investment in product development, technology roadmaps and customer service while maintaining reliable supply.

The reported adjustment follows similar pricing actions recently seen across parts of the semiconductor industry. Earlier this month, Infineon Technologies also informed customers of upcoming price increases on selected products, citing rising operating costs and continued investment in manufacturing capacity.
