March 25, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — STMicroelectronics said in a notice to customers that it will raise prices across several product lines from April 26, 2026, as cost pressure builds across the semiconductor supply chain.
The company pointed to higher material costs, with some suppliers adding allocation fees or increasing quotes. Energy and logistics expenses have also moved up in recent months.
STMicroelectronics added that spending to secure capacity at foundries and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) providers has increased, adding to overall cost pressure.
The new pricing will take effect for multiple product lines, with further details to be shared with customers in the coming weeks.
Across the sector, chipmakers have been adjusting prices as demand recovers in several end markets while supply-related costs remain high.
