MPS to raise prices on select products from May

March 23, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Monolithic Power Systems said in a notice sent to distribution partners that it will raise prices on selected products starting May 1, as higher costs across the semiconductor supply chain continue to weigh on margins.

The company said rising demand for semiconductor products has driven up costs from raw materials to manufacturing, affecting the overall cost structure, particularly for power management devices.

Shipments made on or after May 1 will follow the new pricing. Details on affected products will be shared through sales channels.

Industry sources say analog chip suppliers, including power management IC vendors, are facing ongoing cost pressure from wafer fabrication, packaging, and materials. Some companies have started to adjust prices to maintain supply stability and support production capacity.

MPS said it will work with partners to manage the transition and respond to customer inquiries on the pricing changes.
