SEMI: North American semiconductor equipment sales increased 41.3% year-on-year in October.

According to the latest report released by SEMI, North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers announced global sales of $3.74 billion in October 2021 (three-month moving average), which is 0.6% higher than the $3.72 billion in September 2021 and 41.3% higher than the $2.65 billion in October 2020.

“Monthly billings of North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers showed continued strength in October,” said Ajit Manocha, president and CEO of SEMI. “The push towards digital transformation along with robust demand for multiple disruptive applications continues to drive semiconductor equipment sales.”
