According to supply chain, passive component manufacturer Taiyo Yuden's MLCC factory in Malaysia is affected by the epidemic, and some production lines will be suspended until September 10.

According to the source, there have been some confirmed cases of Covid-19 at Taiyo Yuden factory in Malaysia. As a result, some production lines there will be suspended until September 10, and delivery will also be delayed. Taiyo Yuden is evaluating the impact of this incident on operations.

According to industry insiders, the factory is the main factory for Taiyo Yuden to supply Apple. After the production line is shut down, Taiyo Yuden will use the capacity of other factories to make up the supply to Apple, which may disrupt its MLCC supply.
