According to industry insider, the semiconductor shortage has begun to ease, but it is not expected to show a significant improvement until the end of the year.

The insider quoted the regional president of arm as saying that some ICs are still in short supply, while some already have a certain amount of inventory. However, there are still many electronic devices that cannot be assembled due to the shortage of key ICs.

Sources said that semiconductor demand is still very strong, but it is believed that some of these orders are not current demand, but excessive orders due to market panic. The shortage is not expected to show any significant improvement until December at the earliest.

In addition, industry insider also pointed out that the new semiconductor production capacity will not be released until the end of 2022, and it may have to wait until early 2023 to achieve normal output.
