Diodes Inc. issues price increase notice

December 25, 2020

According to the supply chain, Diodes Inc. has issued a price increase notice to customers recently, and the new price will take effect on January 1, 2021.

Diodes Inc. mentioned in the price increase notice that it is facing the challenges of rising costs and extended lead time from suppliers, so it has to decide to increase the prices of some products from January 1, 2021.

Diodes Inc. did not mention which product line prices will be increased, but according to supply chain sources, the lead time of Diodes' low-voltage MOSFET has been significantly extended recently. The current lead time is 17-22 weeks. Therefore, the price of the low-voltage MOSFET product line will inevitably be adjusted.

Insiders said that in addition to Renesas Electronics, NXP, STMicroelectronics and Diodes that have already issued price increases notices, there may be more price increases in January 2021.

The following is the original text of Diodes Inc.'s price increase notice.
