Yageo aims to become the world's largest supplier of thin film resistors and current sensing components

According to reports, Yageo said in an interview with the media recently that the company will continue to invest in the field of thin film resistors and current sensing components, and aims to become the world's largest supplier. At the same time, Yageo said that it is actively developing RF components and antennas and related applications that support 5G.

The report said that for the short-term business plan, Yageo said it will increase the sales performance of thin-film resistors, high-voltage and high-capacitance MLCCs, small-sized resistors, capacitors and inductors, and continue to launch new ceramic antenna product.

Regarding the road map of chip resistors, Yageo pointed out that it will develop new products for high-end mobile phones, automotive and industrial applications with customers, and will continue to increase the production capacity of high-precision thick film resistors, including small, medium and large size products.

In terms of antenna products, Yageo pointed out that it currently has a variety of antenna manufacturing technologies, including multilayer ceramics, low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC), Laser Direct Structuring (LDS), FluidAnt, and base station antenna manufacturing technologies.
