Yesterday, Mouser Electronics announced that it has signed a global distribution agreement with GigaDevice and reached a partnership. After signing this agreement, Mouser Electronics has now become a global authorized distributor of GigaDevice's SPI NOR, SPI NAND, and Parallel NAND Flash products, which are suitable for embedded applications in automotive, consumer electronics, the Internet of Things (IoT), industrial, mobile devices, computing, networking and communications.

GigaDevice is a Chinese fabless company founded in 2005. It is a leading provider of non-volatile memory devices. It is committed to advanced memory and related chip design, and provides customers with a wide range of high-speed and low-power NOR flash products.

Under the agreement, Mouser Electronics will stock multiple GigaDevice memory solutions, including the GD25 SPI NOR Flash product line, which provides four voltage specifications, 20 years of data retention time and 100,000 erase and write times, with high reliability. This product line includes two new high-speed 4-channel GD25LT series and high-speed 8-channel GD25LX series two NOR Flash solutions, the latter is a high-performance solution designed for applications such as automotive, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things that require high-speed read/write of large amounts of code. In addition, the GD25WDxxCK series of this product line uses a very compact 1.5mm x 1.5mm USON8 molded package, which is 60% smaller than the existing 3mm x 2mm USON8 package.

Through the global distribution agreement with Mouser Electronics, global electronic engineers and electronic component buyers can be exposed to GigaDevice products, which is undoubtedly a very positive promotion for GigaDevice's future sales.
