RichWave successfully entered the Huawei supply chain

RF component manufacturer RichWave mentioned in a media interview yesterday that it has officially become a qualified supplier of Huawei and has already supplied components to Huawei's routers. However, due to Huawei's high specification requirements, the orders received are somewhat different from expectations.

Regarding the views of the future market, RichWave Chairman Ma Daijun has a conservative attitude and said that there are too many uncertainties in the trade war between China and the United States, and it is impossible to give too many comments. Mainland China's procurement strategy does tend to reduce US products, but if our technology is not good enough, we can't enter the supply chain. Therefore, RichWave will continue to focus on technology and increase brand market share.

RichWave said that the current global market layout has completed 70% and will continue to work hard in the second half. At present, the company's market is mainly overseas, accounting for about 60% of the company's overall revenue.

For the new WiFi standard 802.11ax (also known as Wi-Fi 6), RichWave pointed out that the current products are concentrated in 802.11ac, but the popularity of 802.11ax will be inevitable. At present, most customers in Taiwan have transferred to ax, and this global trend will be the next opportunity for RichWave.
