According to Korean media, the global MLCC giant Samsung Electro-Mechanics is about to launch its third recruitment in 2018 for the MLCC production line.

Since 2018, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has conducted two open recruitments for its MLCC production lines. Most of these personnel have been dispatched to the MLCC production line at the Busan Plant. However, due to the continuous increase in orders for MLCC, the third recruitment will be held in the second half of 2018. It is expected that the number of enrolled will be 700, it is two to three times that of the previous tworecruitments.

The explosive growth of demand in the MLCC market is the main reason why Samsung has repeatedly recruited production line staff. Samsung's MLCC supply accounts for about 20% of the global market, and Samsung estimates that the supply gap will continue.

The Korean industry believes that the demand for MLCC for automotive electronics will continue to grow in 2019, and Samsung Motor may have the next recruitment for MLCC production line in a short time.
