A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck north of Osaka Prefecture in Japan on Monday morning. After the earthquake, many manufacturing companies temporarily shut down the factory to check the damage caused by the earthquake.

Murata, the world’s largest MLCC producer, issued a statement after the earthquake, confirming that its headquarters in Kyoto and any other Murata office or production site has not suffered significant physical or physical damage due to the earthquake, and all Murata facilities are operating normally.

“In Murata, our thoughts and prayers were with the victims and all those who suffered from this natural disaster.” Murata wrote in a press release after the earthquake.
