February 24, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a new AEC-Q200 qualified thick film chip resistor series in the ultra-small 0201 package, targeting automotive, industrial and telecom applications that require high reliability and compact size.

The CRCW0201-AT e3 devices measure just 0.6 mm by 0.3 mm by 0.23 mm. Compared with larger 0402 parts, the new resistors can cut PCB space needs by about 50%, helping designers continue the push toward smaller electronic systems while keeping stable performance.

The devices are rated at 0.05 W at +70 °C and support a maximum working voltage of 30 V. They operate across a temperature range of −55 °C to +155 °C. Resistance values range from 10 ohms to 1 megaohm, including a 0-ohm jumper option, with tolerance options of ±1% and ±5% and a TCR of ±200 ppm/K.

The series is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. Vishay said the resistors use a protective coating for electrical, mechanical and environmental protection. The matte tin terminations support both lead-free and leaded soldering and are suitable for reflow and vapor phase assembly.

Samples and volume production units are available now with a typical lead time of about 12 weeks.
