According to reports, Passive component manufacturer Jamicon announced today that due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the Malaysian government requires all companies in the Senai Industrial Zone to cease operations from July 9 to July 22. Therefore, its subsidiary RALEC is expected to suspend operations from today.

RALEC is a professional manufacturer of chip resistors, arrays and metal current sensors. Jamicon said that it will optimize the output of the factory in mainland China and reduce the impact on customers. It is expected that the output of resistors in July will be reduced by 30%.
