Murata completes new production building in Vietnam

August 30, 2023 /SemiMedia/ -- Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Da Nang, Vietnam), a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has completed the construction of a new production building that began in June 2022. The completion ceremony was held today.

The new production building has a total investment of 4.32 billion yen, a total construction area of 5,486 square meters, and a total floor area of 22,637 square meters. It will be mainly used for the production of coil products.

According to Murata, the new production building will provide the necessary infrastructure to meet the growing demand for inductance coils for automobiles and electronic equipment with mid- to long-term production capacity.
