According to media reports, Intel recently clarified in a media interview that the company will not skip 10nm and use the 7nm process directly.

Intel also emphasized that Cooper Lake is expected to achieve production in the first half of 2020, and Ice Lake will achieve mass production in the second half of 2020.

"We think 14nm technology is still very powerful, but we will also launch the first 10nm server solution, which will strengthen our advantages. We are very satisfied with our roadmap and competitive advantages," Intel said.

When asked whether to consider skipping 10nm and going directly to 7nm, Intel said: "Although our 10nm process has been delayed, we have actually delivered it. We believe that 10nm technology has great advantages. In the future, we will continue to improve 10nm."
