According to Reuters, Renesas said yesterday that it will take three days longer than expected to resume normal operations at its key factory, the Naka factory.

Renesas said in the announcement that production capacity is expected to be close to pre-quake levels on March 26.

According to earlier reports, Renesas had previously estimated that the factory's capacity was only at 50% and would return to normal on the 23rd.

Renesas added that two other chip factories that were closed after the earthquake have resumed production.
