TDK announces the closure of its manufacturing site in Oklahoma, USA

According to reports, TDK will close its manufacturing facility, Tdk Ferrites Corporation, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA, in March 2022.

According to public information, the facility was completed in 1987 and mainly produces and sells ceramic capacitors, EMC components, inductors, transformers, ferrites, sensors, etc., and provides services to customers around the world.

"Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that as of March 2022, TDK will be closing the (Shawnee) TFC factory," TDK wrote in an open letter.

The report pointed out that the TDK business group plans to transfer (Shawnee) TFC business to other factories producing ferrite magnets in Japan and China.

In addition, TDK emphasized that TFC will continue to produce and maintain its workforce in order to continue to provide high-quality products and services to its customers by the end of March 2022.
