SK Hynix Chongqing plant will resume production

According to earlier reports, SK Hynix's plant in Chongqing, China, suspended production due to an employee who tested positive for Covid-19. Subsequently, SK Hynix Chongqing carried out Covid-19 testing for all employees.

According to the latest notice issued by the local government, after testing 8,412 employees at the SK Hynix Chongqing plant, the results were all negative. In addition, employees who were tested positive for Covid-19 earlier turned negative on the second test.

The local government stated that the plant will resume production under the premise of implementing epidemic prevention and control measures.
