Renesas announces company name change of IDT Malaysia

Renesas Electronics Corporation today announced that, following the approval of Board of Directors on December 25, it will change the company name of its consolidated subsidiary, Integrated Device Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“IDT Malaysia”)to Renesas Electronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd.

Renesas Electronics stated that, in order to align with the company name of Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (“IDT”), a consolidated subsidiary of Renesas, an IDT’s subsidiary IDT Malaysia will change its company name to Renesas Electronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd.

According to Renesas' announcement, the company's name change is expected to occur in the first half of 2020 with the approval of relevant regulatory authorities.
