ASE Group recently announced plans to purchase K24's new plant from Hung Ching Development & Construction Co. to support its future capacity needs and improve manufacturing support performance. The agreed transaction amount is approximately $75 million.

ASE pointed out that the K24 new building includes 649,000 square meters of K24 main plant, 762 square meters of D1 and D2 chemical materials warehouse, and 1,795 square meters of D3 high voltage substation, totaling about 651,557 square meters.

ASE said that the purchase of the K24 new factory building is to meet the future growth needs of the Kaohsiung plant, while at the same time to solve the shortage of chemical material warehouse space, improve the power supply of the plant. When the plant is put into use, it will help to achieve capacity allocation and improve manufacturing capabilities.
