On May 29, Micron Technology officially issued a statement announcing the suspension of supply to Huawei.

Micron said in a statement that Micron respects and abides by all laws and regulations of the countries in which the United States and its global operations are located, and has suspended supply to Huawei to comply with US government regulations.

In addition, Micron also requires memory module manufacturers not to supply related storage products such as modules, memory cards or solid state drives using Micron memory chips to Huawei and its affiliates.

According to Micron's financial report, as of the first half of FY 2019, 13% of Micron's revenue came from Huawei. In other words, without considering other factors, Micron's revenue in the second half of the year may be reduced by 13% due to the suspension of cooperation with Huawei.

The supply chain revealed that after Micron suspended its supply to Huawei, it may trigger a further decline in DRAM market prices.
