Recently, Intel announced the acquisition of Indian startup Indeda Systems, which was paid in cash but the transaction amount was not disclosed.

Indeda, based in Hyderabad, India, is a chip and platform provider with approximately 100 engineers. The company has designed a very energy-efficient processor for wearable devices that reads a variety of sensors and listens to voice commands. This product has caused great concern in the industry, and Qualcomm, Samsung, Imagination, etc. have invested in the company.

Intel said that this transaction brings an experienced SoC team to Intel to help build a world-class independent GPU product.
