Sinopower, a supplier of MOSFETs and IGBTs, held a media conference yesterday. Regarding the current status and future of power devices, Sinopower said that in the case of insufficient capacity, each manufacturer should focus on maintaining customers. In addition, because of the high demand for power components in new applications, he believes that the market demand for power components will continue to rise in the next few years.

Power components are the most basic part of electronic products. New applications require a lot of power components, such as power conversion efficiency in new applications, drive circuits for electric vehicles, etc., which require many power components.

According to Sinopower, 30% of the current market demand has no capacity to meet, and the new investment capacity is limited. In addition, industrial robots, artificial intelligence and data centers also account for some of the capacity. According to current trends, demand will not be fully satisfied until next year.
