Uniohm announces price hike

Uniohm, a famous chip-resistor manufacturer, yesterday announces the price increase, the affected products are including 0402 ~ 2512 size chip resistor and all the array resistor. According to the announcement, prices will be increased by 15 ~ 20%.

Base on the current market status, we believe that this is only the beginning, as the environmental protection regulation takes execution in China, the resistor might faces further shortage in near future, especially the sizes above 0603.
