September 10, 2025 /SemiMedia/ — Nexperia has introduced the NMUX27518-Q100, a 6-channel 2:1 bidirectional multiplexer qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1, targeting advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment units and telematics controllers in cars. The device enables memory expansion through a qSPI interface, meeting the stringent reliability needs of safety-critical automotive applications.

The NMUX27518-Q100 is among the first multiplexers capable of operating from 1.08 V to 3.63 V, supporting both analog and digital signals with bandwidth up to 500 MHz. It features low channel-to-channel skew of 150 ps and compatibility with 1.8 V, 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic thresholds, while offering a high-impedance state for unused outputs.

Nexperia also offers the NMUX27518, a standard version designed for consumer and enterprise products such as laptops, tablets, motherboards and servers, where it can be used for audio and video signal routing. Both versions come in compact TSSOP24 and HWQFN24 packages and can operate across a temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C.

By expanding its multiplexer portfolio, Nexperia aims to strengthen its role in automotive and high-performance electronic systems requiring robust signal switching solutions.
