NVIDIA plans to establish manufacturing base in Vietnam

December 12, 2023 /SemiMedia/ -- According to reports, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently stated that the company believes that Vietnam is an important market and hopes to set up a manufacturing base in Vietnam to help the development of the semiconductor industry.

When Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visited Vietnam, he said that the company regarded Vietnam as one of its local markets and confirmed its plan to establish a base in the country.

After Jensen Huang met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Zheng, the Vietnamese government issued a statement stating that the base will attract global talents and contribute to Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem and digital development.

According to earlier reports, NVIDIA has currently cooperated with leading technology companies in Vietnam to deploy artificial intelligence in cloud computing, automobiles and healthcare.
