September 26, 2023 /SemiMedia/ -- Murata Manufacturing recently completed the construction of a new factory in Thailand, which is expected to start production in November 2023 and strive to achieve full production capacity in Thailand in 2028.

The new factory in Thailand is ideally located to meet the growing demand for electronic parts, especially in the Southeast Asian market. The move will enable Murata to establish a strong foothold in the region and facilitate further growth.

The decision to build a new factory in Thailand is also consistent with Murata's role as an Apple supplier. By expanding its production capacity in the region, the company can ensure a stable supply chain for Apple products.

By leveraging these factors, Murata aims to capitalize on the growing demand for electronic components. The completion of the new factory demonstrates the company's commitment to long-term growth and confidence in the potential of the Thai market.
