It has been 28 days since the ZTE was banned by US. Just today, US President Trump issued a message in his Twitter, saying that he will lift the ban on ZTE. For ZTE, this may be the most exciting news from the start of the company.

From another point of view, since the ZTE was banned by the United States, the company has almost stopped operation, highlighting China's shortcomings in the semiconductor industry from the side. Although the Chinese government has strongly supported the semiconductor industry in recent years, its technical capabilities are far from the United States. The ZTE incident undoubtedly increased the Chinese government’s attention to this aspect and may launch more semiconductor-related policies this year. The ZTE issue has been solved, but China's semiconductor industry still has a long way to go.
