Intel added a CEO candidate who was responsible for IC development at Apple

According to media reports, the position of Intel CEO has been vacant for six months, and recently added Johny Srouji as a candidate, as senior vice president of Apple's hardware technology department, he was responsible for Apple's independent chip development.

It is reported that Srouji has extensive experience in chip research and development. He also worked at Intel's Israel factory from 1990 to 2005.

Previously, Intel's board of directors hopes to select a new CEO before the release of the new quarterly earnings on January 24. Informed sources said candidates such as Sanjay Jha, Anand Chandrasekher and Renee James will no longer be involved.

Bob Swan, Intel CFO and interim CEO, recently reiterated that he has no intention of becoming the company's official CEO. Previously, some analysts believe that Intel's internal candidate list includes CFO Bob Swan, Intel's data center leader Navin Shenoy, and Intel chip engineering leader Jim Keller.

It seems that Intel's new CEO is most likely to be from outside candidates. Whether Johny Srouji can take up the position as CEO with rich experience, SemiMedia will continue to pay attention to and report relevant news in a timely manner.
