According to reports, TSMC Chairman Mark Liu said in a recent interview with the media that he expects to meet the minimum demand for automotive chip supply from customers by the end of June.

Mark Liu said that one month after they learned of the global chip shortage in December last year, TSMC began trying to supply as many chips as possible to automakers.

"There is a time delay in chip supply, especially for automotive chips. It is long and complicated, and it takes about 7 to 8 months to supply." Mark said.

"Now, we think we are two months ahead, and we can meet the minimum needs of our customers before the end of June." Mark added.
