According to South Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics is urging ASML executives to deliver as soon as possible the nine EUV lithography machines ordered by Samsung this year.

The report pointed out that when Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae Yong visited the Netherlands a few days ago, he met with ASML CEO Peter Wennink, CTO Martin van den Brink and other executives.

The report stated that Lee Jae Yong asked ASML to deliver EUV lithography machines one month ahead of schedule. For Samsung's requirements, ASML considers shipping in November as soon as possible.

ASML is the only manufacturer in the world that can produce EUV lithography machines, with an annual output of more than 40 units. In order to catch up with TSMC, Samsung is accelerating the introduction of EUV lithography machines and expanding its foundry production lines.
