The situation of passive components shortage has come increasingly intense this year. A large EMS factory requires its customers to propose passive component demand forecasts (including resistor, capacitor, and inductor) for six months, and to make storage plan for the related passive components in advance. However, it is understood that even if the EMS manufacturers increase their vigilance, there are still a number of EMS factories that have lost production due to passive components and have experienced varying degrees of production.
