According to the report citing data from the Malaysian Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), Malaysia’s semiconductor industry is expected to grow by 8-10% in 2022.

However, the report noted that Malaysia’s semiconductor industry is expected to weaken in 2023, which portends a slowdown in the electronics sector. Notably, data from MSIA suggests that the automotive sector will remain strong in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia next year.
