According to reports, Tsai, Jung-Tsung, VP of Sales and Marketing Center for MCU maker Holtek, said yesterday that production capacity in the second half of this year has been negotiated with the fab, and it is expected that the company will raise prices again by 10% to 15% in August.

The report pointed out that all the production capacity of Holtek in 2021 has been booked by customers. In addition, the capacity booked for next year has reached 60~70%, and the overall market conditions are expected to be the same as 2021.

In response to rising costs, Holtek has already raised its product prices by 15% in April this year, and expects to raise prices again by 10-15% in August. Holtek said that it will make appropriate price adjustments in accordance with the increase in foundry prices in the future.
