September 3, 2020

Today, ROHM Semiconductor announced that its Philippine plant that produces ICs, sensors, transistors and resistors has resumed normal operations.

ROHM stated that on August 31, the Philippine government announced the easing of restrictions for the state of Cavite, where the ROHM plant is located, from GCQ (General Community Quarantine) to MGCQ (Modified General Community Quarantine), from September 1. As a result, with permission from the relevant authorities, ROHM’s Philippine plant has resumed normal operations.

Affected by COVID-19, ROHM's Philippine facility entered partial operation on March 23, and it has been in an incomplete operation state for nearly half a year. Now, after entering full operation, its production and delivery will also return to normal.
