Mouser Electronics has announced a global distribution agreement with pressure sensor manufacturer Superior Sensor Technology.
Headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., Superior Sensor Technology has been manufacturing sensors for the industrial, medical and automotive markets since October 2016. The company's sensors are built using proprietary NimbleSense technology that allows the sensor to cover a wide range of pressures while maintaining optimum performance over each required pressure range.
According to Mouser, Superior Sensor's HV Series high-performance low-voltage sensors deliver the industry's broadest dynamic range while maintaining 10 times higher performance than other solutions. The HV Series sensors are optimized for pressures from 25 Pa to 5000 Pa while maintaining 0.1% accuracy over each selected range. With these features, up to seven individual sensors can be replaced with a single HV series sensor.
