Yesterday, Vishay issued an updated statement on the impact of the COVID-19 on its production, according to which its facilities in France, Italy, Dominican Republic, Philippines, Malaysia and India suffered production disruptions.

Vishay said the disruptions at these factories were mainly due to local government quarantine, travel or other legal restrictions that Vishay had no control over.

In addition, Vishay also emphasized that all other Vishay facilities in the world are operating normally, and its main facilities in China are now essentially fully operational.

Following is Vishay's statement.
