Qorvo, Inc. recently announced the launch of two RF front-end (RFFE) modules that support the NB-IoT and LTE-M cellular standards. At the same time, Qorvo announced that it has partnered with Nordic Semiconductor to develop cellular IoT solutions using Qorvo's RFFE modules.

NB-IoT and LTE-M networks are rapidly expanding globally. According to Ericsson Mobile Report estimates, the number of NB-IoT and LTE-M connections has tripled during 2019 and will account for more than half of the nearly 5 billion cellular IoT connections by 2025.
According to Qorvo, major manufacturers of IoT devices, including wearables, are designing products that use their latest modules. In addition to the advantages of compact size, these two modules also provide the industry's lowest minimum operating voltage, thereby extending the battery life of IoT devices.
