After the ban was issued, European and American equipment vendors quickly withdrew from the JHICC supply chain, causing the JHICC production line to stagnate. However, there are also industry news that although the supplier has withdrawn from the factory, JHICC has not stopped operations and there is no plan to suspend mass production. The JHICC executives are even quite optimistic that the United States will lift the ban sooner or later and hopes to solve this problem like ZTE. In addition, JHICC began to seek assistance from Japanese or Korean manufacturers.
According to media reports, JHICC received financial support from the local government a month ago. For China's technology sector, the successful production of memory for mobile phones is an important development process. However, the US Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against JHICC at this time, and the US Department of Commerce also issued a ban on the export of semiconductor equipment to JHICC. European and American equipment vendors evacuated JHICC after the ban, including ASML in the Netherlands.
Insiders pointed out that the withdrawal of suppliers has greatly affected JHICC's internal internals, although JHICC issued a notice saying that it has not stopped operations. However, under the ban, many of its production and commercial activities will not work properly.
